Field One - Black

Got this as an engagement present. Canopy was super nice and accomodating, going as far as doing a color change. Super thankful because the watch is gorgeous ans the lume is one of the best executions of X2 I've seen to date. When I asked them for a few more strap links to improve the fit they were so kind to send me a full bracelet. Cannot exaggerate how nice and acommodating they are being - on top of their watch being awesome

It’s a great looking field watch. Delivery was fast. I love the Lume. I was surprised to see it delivered with an awesome single watch travel case that actually looks good as well as a set of tools (good quality screwdriver and spring bar tool). I’m looking forward to see how the coated titanium holds up against scratches at work and in the field.

Such a seriously great watch. Hits way above its price point. Bracelet was surprisingly comfortable, DLC coating basically makes its scratch proof, The LUME!!! So good.

If I hadn’t noticed the Canopy booth at the Vancouver Timepiece Show this past weekend, I would not have met Machlen Polfliet. I was drawn to his watches’ buttery-smooth sweep… “Miyota 9015”, he said. I tried on the Field One: So light? “Titanium watch and bracelet”, he responded, “with tool-less micro adjust clasp”. The more I looked, the more the specs revealed themselves: 100m water resistance with screw-down crown, double-domed sapphire crystal with generous anti-reflective coating, SuperLuminova LumiCast C3 X2 numerals and indices, forged carbon case back... a real bargain, even in Canadian $.

Most importantly, not once did this soft-spoken, kind young man try to convince me to buy one, which I did without thinking any longer. I wish I had bought two… that blue dial is mesmerizing.

The Canopy Field One has proven to be as unpretentious as its creator. Getting into my car on my way home, I gave the watch an unfortunate almighty wack on the door lock… not a mark or even the slightest blemish, thanks to the 1200 HV hardness coating. My Field one runs consistently at an astonishing +3 seconds per day. If there is any better GADA watch, I am still to meet it, even after 55 years of collecting watches.

Great first impression, and it grew on me even more. I was looking for a cool orange-dial watch and wasn't looking for another diver. The materials, design, and finishing are all awesome, and it's really sharp and light. Perfect for a recent Arizona trip!

Blown away.
I waited awhile to leave this review because the “honeymoon period” for watches is real, and like a lot of watch nerds, the endorphins quickly wear off and I’m ready for the next thing. Not with this one. I love this watch more every time I wear it. I love micro brands, but have really lost my excitement for the “$500-$800 micro” over the last few years, reaching more and more for my pricier watches. But This has been a game changer. .
Out of the box I thought “huh… ok lots of value for the money- this will replace my KFM I often regret selling- as a good little tool watch” but i wasn’t necessarily losing my mind over it.
Fast forward a few months I was choosing it more and more, waking up realizing I had slept in it because it was so damn light and comfy.
As of today: I often wear a “fancier” watch to work but I change into this the second I get home, and out of my office attire. It become my one and only “weekend” watch, and easily one of my favorite watches I’ve ever owned.
Pros:
1. the bracelet is amazing. Full titanium, cool brutalist design (this is my favorite part), like wearing nothing, quick adjust.
2. The case is HOT. The color of the ti is beautiful and unique. The lugs are awesome.
3. Big lume block numbers? Yes please!
Gripes:
None. If I could change anything, I guess I prefer a no date watch, but whatever- all my favorite watches have them save one and This one is very tastefully done. No frame around the date window is a deal breaker for me and the way they integrated a little frame while keeping the “tool-y aesthetic” is masterfully done.
Sorry this review was so long. I really just love this watch a lot.

Great watch. Wear it often. Well made, reliable. I was looking for a blue field watch and I prefer independent watch companies. Price was very reasonable. I’d prefer the numbers be just slightly bigger and not solid lume, but those are minor things and the lume is incredible. I not a big bracelet fan so I’m using a Velcro strap which fits to a tee.

This is such a brilliant watch at an incredible value. The bracelet is unique. The dlc finish on the case and bracelet feels like it will resist any wear and tear. My favorite part is that it’s light and thin in the wrist. It’s a looker too!

From the court to cocktails, this is a very versatile watch. The orange face pops with serious style. Top notch quality!
